YGC Defensive Pistol 1

This course is designed for intermediate shooters who have completed Basic Pistol or an equivalent. Defensive Pistol 1 focuses on holster work, teaching students to safely draw and re-holster their firearms under time and environmental pressure. Participants will practice critical firearm-handling techniques, immediate action drills, and defensive skills like scanning and managing the scene after an encounter. The course introduces foundational defensive principles while gradually increasing difficulty based on student ability. Students are required to bring their own handgun, holster, ammo, and protective gear.
